President Yameen has postponed trip to Baa Atoll
President Abdulla Yameen has postponed a scheduled trip to Baa and Raa Atolls.
The President, who was originally scheduled to travel this Tuesday (April 18), has postponed the trip to April 26. No reason has been given for the postponement.
When RaajjeMV contacted the spokesperson at the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali for a comment, he said that ‘necessary details regarding the President’s trips will be shared with the media when the time comes’.
President Yameen is to travel to two atolls during this trip, Baa Atoll an Raa Atoll, and is to start a few development projects in the islands.
Atoll councils have been informed of the postponement.
