21 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the Maldives.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the new cases include three locals and 18 foreigners (17 Bangladeshis and one Sri Lankan national).

This pushes the country’s Covid-19 case count to 2,382.

Further, 10 additional recoveries have been reported which brings the total recoveries to 1,954.

There are currently 414 active cases.

Maldives has seen nine Covid-19 related deaths, with the last one reported on Tuesday.
