Adam Shareef has been sworn in as the Chief Magistrate at the Holhudhoo Magistrate Court in Noonu atoll.
Shareef, native to Huhudhuffaaru island in Raa atoll was appointed to the position by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), during a special ceremony.
The newly-appointed Chief Magistrate’s oath was administered by a Judge at the High Court, Athif Hilmy.
His letter of appointment was presented by the President of JSC and MP for Thulhaadhoo constituency, Hisaan Hussain.
