MTCC to price dividends at MVR two per share

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is to price their dividends at MVR two per share.
The company made a profit of MVR 53,318,631 after taxes, during 2019.
In a statement, the company noted that their Board of Directors approved the financial statistics including their balance sheet for 2019, during a meeting held on Wednesday.
MTCC reached the decision to distribute dividends at MVR two per share with a face value of MVR five from its profits for the previous year, during Wednesday's meeting.
The distribution of MVR two per shareholder will be proposed by the Board of Directors, during MTCC’s Annual General Meeting for 2019.
Shareholders registered by the book closure date, when the company will determine the list of shareholders who are entitled to receive the company’s dividends, will receive the dividends, said MTCC.
During RaajjeTV’s Fala Suruhee program on Wednesday, MTCC’s CEO Adam Azim revealed that they are yet to receive MVR 800 million through pending payments.
