Maldives confirmed 30 additional Covid-19 cases and 229 recoveries on Monday.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed on Monday night that the 30 new cases include 16 Maldivians, 13 Bangladeshi and one Nepali national.

With this development, the total number of cases has risen to 2,065.

There are currently 515 active cases in the country, which has seen eight Covid-19 related deaths thus far.

The number of recoveries recorded in the Maldives is increasing rapidly on a daily basis of recent.
