An additional 35 people have recovered from Covid-19.
This was announced at the Covid-19 nightly press briefing at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), on Monday. With this, Maldives has seen a total of 488 recoveries.
While authorities have said that the country’s recovery rate is slower that anticipated, the current recovery rate is at 26.68 percent.
A total of 1,829 cases have been confirmed in the country thus far. There have been six Covid-19 related deaths this far -three locals and three Bangladeshi nationals- with thelatest deathreported on Monday.
Maldives’ mortality rate is at 0.33 percent.
