453 Covid-19 patients have recovered.

Covid-19 taskforce’s spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Aziz announced this at the press conference held at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) on Sunday night.

While 453 patients have recovered from the virus, there are currently 1,313 active cases in the country.

13 of the recoveries are the cases reported prior to the detection of a community transmission, foreigners from resorts.

Authorities have said that recovery rate is slower than anticipated, and that it is taking an average of 17 days. As of now, the country’s recovery rate is at 25.55 percent.

1,773 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the country, with 101 new cases announced in the last 24 hours.
