77 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the Maldives.
This brings the total recoveries to 232.
13 of the recoveries are the cases reported prior to the detection of a community transmission, foreigners from resorts.
Authorities have said that recovery rate is slower than anticipated, and that it is taking an average of 17 days.
1,438 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in the country, with 43 new cases announced on Tuesday.
