Maldives has shared the country’s Covid-19 response efforts with the World Health Organization (WHO).
The WHO’s country office revealed this via Twitter, and said that authorities had presented their “comprehensive response to Covid-19” at WHO’s weekly virtual information session.
This session is organized by WHO’s Director General, Tedros Adhanom.
WHO Maldives said that health ministers across the globe take part in the meeting, “to share country strategies, actions, experiences and good practices”.
HPA's Medical Officer Dr. Nazla Rafeeq represented the Maldives at the virtual meeting.
Maldives has been following WHO recommendations and guidelines in its Covid-19 response efforts.
