The Ministry of Economic Development has instigated several business registration services.
The services commenced from Sunday and it was revealed via a publication in the Government Gazette.
As such, the ministry revealed that the services will be provided from 10am to 2pm every day except the weekends, Fridays and Saturdays from May 10 onward.
Some of the services being provided include:
- Approving business names,
- Registering business names,
- Registering private companies,
- Registering companies,
- Issuing corporate profile sheets,
- Associating Small and Medium Sized Enterprises,
- Registering company logos,
- Registering company seals,
- Registering company trademarks,
- Registering business movement,
- Accepting applications to annul companies or partnerships and
- Registering foreign investments.
Further, the ministry has also opened the opportunity to share information through the ministry’s live chat and call center through 1691, from 10am to 2pm every day except Fridays and Saturdays.
