A second Covid-19 patient has been placed on a ventilator.
Dr. Ibrahim Afzal revealed this during Monday night’s press conference at the National Emergency Operations Center.
He said that a 70-year-old man has been placed on a ventilator, but did not reveal any further details.
Authorities had previously revealed that an 88-year-old man was placed on a ventilator following complications.
Four others are currently hospitalized, including an 80-year-old man who is being given oxygen support.
The others, a 58-year-old woman, 48-year-old foreigner (man) and an 80-year-old woman, are in stable condition, according to the doctor.
