131 Thai nationals stranded in Maldives were repatriated on Monday.
Covid-19 taskforce’s spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Aziz revealed this at a press conference on Sunday night.
This is the second repatriation of Thai nationals from Maldives, 55 people were evacuated in mid-April as well.
While the flight left Velana International Airport (VIA) on Monday morning, the Thai Honorary Consulate in the Maldives said that the 131 individuals were repatriated via a chartered flight of the Maldives’ national airline, Maldivian.
