Best Buy Maldives (BBM) and Maldives Exhibition and Conference Services (MECS) has revealed that three winners from the Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge 2016 will participate in the HOFEX 2017.
Bandos Island Resort’s Chef Ahmed Fatheen, Hulhule’ Island Hotel’s Chefs Indra Kumar Limboo and Ismail Nasir were the winners of the Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge 2016. MECS and BBM will host these chefs as they travel to Hong Kong.
Culinary Challenge Project Director Alan Palmer said that it was an honor for the team to host these three chefs. He said the purpose of the Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge was to provide local chefs with opportunities of this nature.
BBM CEO Mohamed Mazloom said the company gave highest priority to developing the hospitality industry. Mazloom announced that they will be sending chefs for training regularly.

The 13th edition of Hotel Asia Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge will be held from 17th to the 20th of September in Dharubaaruge.
