Six new Covid-19 cases reported in Maldives
 
Malé City has been locked down after the community transmission was observed
 
The new cases include one Pakistani, one Bangladeshi and four Maldivians
 
This brings the total case count to 220

Six new cases of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) have emerged in the Maldives.

The reveal was made via Twitter, by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Monday evening.

As such, among the six new cases are one Bangladeshi, one Pakistani and four Maldivians.

With this development, the case count total 220 confirmed cases in the island nation.
