Maldives has confirmed the first-ever Pakistani Covid-19 patient in the country.
The reveal was made by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) via Twitter on Sunday evening and the Pakistani national is among three new cases confirmed not too long after 11 new cases emerged.
The three new cases include one Pakistani and two Maldivians.
Although no further details have been revealed regarding these cases, patients 189 - 191, they are being moved into an isolation facility.
With this development, the total case count in Maldives has risen to 191.
