Maldives’ Covid-19 total count has reached a 108, with an additional 14 cases on Thursday.
This was revealed at the daily Covid-19 press conference at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) on Thursday night.
While nine cases were reported earlier on Thursday, the 14 new cases were announced at the press conference.
This is the highest daily number since the detection of a community transmission on April 15.

- April 23: 23 (thus far)
Dr. Nazla Rafeez said that a community survey and assessment of a single vulnerable house had been conducted, and that three vulnerable areas were identified through this.
She noted that all 14 cases were discovered from one of these areas.
They are all Bangladeshis, according to a tweet posted by HPA early Friday morning.
