Authorities have revealed that an individual who had been placed in quarantine upon return from India, has died while receiving treatment for health complications.
Speaking during the press briefing on Wednesday evening, Dr. Moosa Murad revealed that the individual’s health deteriorated while undergoing the required quarantine period after returning from India.
Stressing that there are no links to Covid-19, Dr. Murad said that the person was admitted at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) due to health complications.
The individual was in quarantine after returning from India in mid-April, as per procedures implemented on March 21 to quarantined all returnees from abroad.
