Assaulted was a 36-year-old Maldivian man.

A man has been injured after being assaulted with a sharp object in Addu City's Maradhoo ward.

Police received a report of a man being assaulted by a gang of four men on motorbikes and in possession of sharp objects around 20:16 on April 9th.

Assaulted was a 36-year-old Maldivian man.

According to police, the man sustained cuts on his back that were 5 inches deep.

The case is undergoing further investigation.
