A man is being treated at the hospital following injuries attained after an accident in capital city Malé's suburban district Hulhumalé on Saturday evening.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received the report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car a little past 4pm on Saturday.
The accident occurred when a car and motorcycle collided into one another where Asurumaa Hingun and Reethigas Magu meet.
Being treated at the hospital is a 49-year-old man, revealed the police.
The man did not attain any serious injuries in the accident.
Both involved in the case had licenses to operate vehicles in the same category, authorities further revealed.
The accident is under further investigations by the police.
