Maldives is an example for women's empowerment: Ambassador
The ambassador highlighted efforts for women's empowerment in the Maldives.
The Ambassador claimed that there are no obstacles for women in the Maldives.
He stated that Pakistan is working towards preventing further bloodshed of fellow Muslims around the world.

Ambassador of Pakistan to the Maldives, Vice-Admiral Waseem Akram (Retd) has stated that the Maldives is a great example for Pakistani Muslim women.

Highlighting efforts for women's empowerment in the Maldives, the Ambassador claimed that there are no obstacles for women in the Maldives. Hence, the Maldives sets a great example for Muslim women in Pakistan said the ambassador.

The ambassador further added that Muslims communities are currently going through difficult times and stated that Pakistan is working towards preventing further bloodshed of fellow Muslims around the world.

Moreover, the ambassador said Muslims are being targeted all over the globe from Palestine to Australia, claiming that media reports purposefully ignore attacks on Muslims.
