President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has officiated the inauguration of Masjid-ul-Rahmath.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the mosque at a special ceremony held in Kendhikolhudhoo island of Noonu atoll on Wednesday.
The mosque with a capacity for 500 people began construction on March 17th 2019 and was completed within 296 (two-hundred and ninety-six) days.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the president highlighted the government's efforts to address the challenges faced by local investors and businessmen.

According to the president, the positive effects of the governments work to resolve the bureaucratic challenges over the past year are currently evident.
He stated that the incumbent government's aim is to arrange for progress that indiscriminately benefits every citizen around the country.
As such, he shared the latest updates on the ongoing development projects for the island of Kendhikulhudhoo.
Following the inauguration, the president took a tour of the mosque and planted a tree in the yard of the mosque. Additionally, a commemorative plaque was also presented to the president on behalf of the residents of Kendhikulhudhoo.
