The Attorney General’s Office (AG office) provided legal consultation for government institutions in 1,003 different cases during the past year.
The office made the reveal through statistics on Twitter, which reveals that they received a total of 1,082 cases seeking legal counsel, out of which the office consulted 1,003 cases.
Publicized statistics reveal that 27 cases were consulted regarding passing bills, 354 regarding agreements, 103 linked to laws and regulations as well as 452 involving other issues.
This comes at a time the office has drawn public criticism over its consultations in several cases that favors state compensation.
However, the AG office has assured the public that they always stick by the procedure as mandated under law and that they never carry out practices outside of the mandated procedure.
