Applications open for the Chinese Government Scholarships

Ministry of Education has announced that Chinese Government Scholarships are now open for applications.
The scholarships are being offered at two levels; Master's degree and PhD.
Aside from the conditions stipulated by the course under the scholarship, the ministry has also set four additional criteria to be met.
These criteria include a requirement for candidates that have previously received financial aid for education from the state. The requirement mandates that the candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of service for full scholarships, a minimum of 1.5 years for partial scholarships and a minimum of one year of service for state-provided loans.
The next criteria states that if the candidate has previously taken a loan from the higher department, the candidate must have paid the loan back in full. Additionally, candidates must apply for a course of a higher level than the prior course.
The candidate must also not be currently engaged in studies funded by the state elsewhere.
The announcement goes onto state that the candidate must meet all the requirements detailed further in the information sheet uploaded to the ministry's website.
