A child has been injured after being hit by a falling chunk of the ceiling in Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) on Saturday.
Eye witnesses reported that the girl, around 14-years of age was sitting in the waiting area near the Intensive Care Unit for consultation when the chunk of ceiling fell onto her head.
Although witnesses reported that she was injured, the extent of her injuries has not yet been specified.
Photos of the scene show the panels of the ceiling from which the chunk fell, heavily sodden.
RaajjeMV was unable to get a comment from the IGMH’s medial official at the time of publishing.
