Speaker of Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed, has announced that the Bill on amendments to the Decentralization Act (No. 7/2010) and State Budget 2020 is set to be finalized during Thursday's parliament sitting.
While the Majlis plans to go into recess on December 7, Nasheed declared that the parliament will be in session on Thursday and Saturday.
Moreover, he revealed that voting on the appointments for the Supreme Court bench and position of PG is on the parliament's agenda for Saturday whereas finalizing the Income Tax bill is on Wednesday's agenda.
While the current term will go into recess on December 7, the next term will commence in 2020.
