Kulhudhuffushi island, Haa Dhaal atoll

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has arrested an individual, believed to be under the influence of drugs, from Kulhudhuffushi, Haa Dhaal atoll.

The 19-year-old was arrested while he was digging up a grave in the cemetery of the island, a little after sundown on Sunday.

The man is currently under police custody at the Kulhudhuffushi Police Station.

Police have since launched further investigations into the case.
