The first and only Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service to be established in the Maldives, Dhiraagu TV has been launched in Kaashidhoo island of Kaafu atoll and Keyodhoo island of Vaavu atoll.

The introductory package of Dhiraagu TV service includes over 80 channels ranging from Disney, Bollywood, music, news, sports as well as entertainment packs and is available nationwide.

DhiraaguTV uses a fixed broadband connection through joybox and set-top box streaming and doesn't take additional charges from your Internet package, nor does it affect your internet usage allowance.

Since it’s establishment two years back, the service has attained observable progress such as the introduction of video on-demand feature and the special app for DhiraaguTV. Currently the service has been provided over 72 percent of the country thus far.

Fiber broadband is the latest and fastest internet service provider in the Maldives at a speed of 100mbps and their biggest allowance is a package of one terabyte.

The telecom provider is continuing to establish its fiber broadband services across the nation at a swift speed and has already covered 70% of the country since 2016. Dhiraagu has thus far provided "Fiber to the home" services to capital city Male', Villimale', Hulhumale' and 39 other islands, and ADSL services to all islands with a large population.

The telecom giant aims to broaden their services across Maldives with the use of innovation and modern technology.
