26-yo being treated in ICU following road accident in Fuvahmulah
Police revealed that the 26-year-old was licensed to operate motorcycles

A 26-year-old is being treated in intensive care after attaining serious injuries following a road accident in Fuvahmulah City.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) received report of the accident close to 12am on Tuesday and revealed that the accident occurred near the city’s stadium.
The accident occurred when the 26-year-old, speeding down the road crashed after being unable to control the motorcycle having hit the speed breaker. He was the only one involved in the accident.
Following the serious injuries attained, the man was rushed to Fuvahmulah Hospital for treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.
Police revealed that the 26-year-old was licensed to operate motorcycles.
Further investigations have been launched.
