Minister of Health, Abdulla Ameen, has been summoned for questioning at Tuesday's parliament sitting.

While this has been placed on the agenda, Velidhoo constituency Mohamed Abdulla Shafeeq had proposed to question the minister regarding some of the halted work in the island.

As such, the MP proposed to question Ameen over the delay in establishing a hospital in Velidhoo despite MVR 260,678,10 being allocated for the project in this year's budget. He further plans to clarify on when the work will begin.

Furthermore, parliament will take a vote on the judiciary committee's report, after reviewing the Judicial Service Commission's report on the backlog of court cases, on Tuesday.
