Parliament’s Committee on Independent Institutions has revealed their decision to conduct interview sessions for those who apply for the vacancy at Maldives Broadcasting Commission, within the first week of November.
During a meeting on Monday, committee members reached the decision to interview all 36 candidates on 4, 5 and 6 November.
Names out of the candidates who applied for the two vacant seats at MBC that were forwarded for parliament approval are;

Maldives Broadcasting Commission comprises of seven members out of which four became vacant after Fathmath Zaina’s removal and Hassan Nabaah’s resignation.
MBC’s President Mohamed Shaheeb also resigned in October.
