The term of members of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has ended on Sunday.

ACC President Muavviz Rasheed, who was appointed on September 9, 2009, is the only member to have completed two terms.

The rest of the members have completed one term.

Hassan Luthufee resigned as ACC President on July 3 over allegations of corruption and was replaced by Muavviz on July 4.

The other members of the ACC are Vice President Aminath Minna, Safwath Mohamed, and Yazmeed Mohamed.

The new ACC members will begin their term on Monday. They are Ibrahim Shakeel, Fathimath Anoola, Mariyam Shiuna, Ali Ashraf, and Aishath Abdulla.

At a recent press conference, ACC President Muavviz Rasheed said that 547 compalints were registered this year, and that ACC was investigated 184 of those complaints, which involves state companies.
