A workshop has been held to draft a five-year development master plan for HA Hoarafushi.
The workshop was inaugurated on Saturday by Planning Minister Mohamed Aslam at the Ghiyasuddin International School.
The workshop, which seeks to gain public opinion on the Hoarafushi development plan, will be split into three phrases.
A Water Solution company consultant, who is in charge of the workshop, said that they will be using all available experience and resources to draft the five-year development plan and will be revising the current land-use plan and conducting a survey in Hoarafushi.
The consultant said the master plan will be drafted according to citizen’s wishes and is expected to bring the needed development to Hoarafushi.
Many experts in various fields and Hoarafushi residents have participated in the workshop and another one will be held in Hoarafushi.
