New member appointed to Anti-Corruption Commission
 
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Mohamed Shakeel on Sunday

Mohamed Shakeel has been appointed to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed the new member on Sunday, and his letter of appointment was presented at a ceremony held at the President’ Office in the morning.

Shakeel also took his oath of membership at the ceremony, which was administered by Supreme Court Justice Abdulla Areef.

Shakeel had previously served as Internal Auditor at the Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc (Dhiraagu), and also as an Officer in Charge at the Financial Intelligence Unit of Maldives Monitory Authority (MMA).

He attained his Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Science at the Asia Pacific Institute for Information Technology, in Srilanka.
