Ministry, FAM working to start 'home and away league' across Maldives

Sports Ministry and Football Association of Maldives (FAM) plan to start a home and away league across the country.
Minister Ahmed Mahloof revealed this via Twitter on Monday, after a meeting with FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel.
Mahloof said that they had “a good chat” regarding the promotion and development of football in the country, including to start “a home and away league across the country.”
He added that the ministry looked forward “to closer ties with FAM and the football family to achieve better results.”
Noting that it was “a good chat indeed,” the FAM president said that he looks forward to working together for the development of football in the Maldives.
