Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is accepting candidates for the seat reserved for the representative of the lower court judges.
Lower court judges can send in their applications until August 7, 2pm.
The election has been scheduled for August 24.
JSC consists of the parliament speaker, an MP, a Supreme Court justice, the attorney general, a lower court judge, a high court judge, a member appointed by the President, the Civil Service Commission President, a lawyers’ representative, and a representative of the public.
