Ahusan Hashim has won this year’s National 10-Ball Championship.

Ahusan beat Hussain Fayaz in the final match of the men’s division held at the Maldives Pool Billiard Association (MPBA) clubhouse, in a nine to seven frame game.

Fayaz is one of the best billiard players in the country.

Hassan Shaaz took third place in the championship.

Aminath “Dhil” Haleem won the women’s division, after beating Dheena Mohamed in the final in five to three frame game.

While this is the first time that MPBA has held a women’s division of the 10-ball championship, those that lead the rankings will secure a spot in the national team.

Mohamed Sameer was selected as the most promising player.
