Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed their plans to host a temporary Visa Application Center for the United Kingdom.

The temporary center is to be established in capital city Malé and is organized by the British Embassy to the Maldives.

The ministry revealed that services will be provided at the center to be located in the ministry building, from 9am to 5pm from 5 – 6 August.

While the center is opened annually to assist Maldivians to easily and conveniently apply for their visas, the center was opened the same period last year as well.

With the establishment of the center, Maldivians, especially students studying in the UK will be paved the way to easily access their visas.
