The flash floods and landslides have killed 15 people
Maldives has sent a message of condolence to Nepal after the recent floods and landslides.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid sent the message of condolence to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
In the message, Minister Shahid said he was “deeply saddened to hear the news of the devastating floods and landslides in different parts of Nepal during the last three days, triggered by heavy rain fall, causing the loss of several innocent lives, damage to infrastructure, and injury to many more.”
He ended by wishing the recovery efforts success and commending the tenacity of the people of Nepal.
Nepalese officials have stated that flash floods and landslides in Nepal triggered by monsoon rains killed 15 people and injured 12 overnight while another 18 have gone missing.
