The police have searched three houses for missing boy Shaeem Abdulla.

On Sunday night, the police service stated that the 14-year-old was reported missing on May 18.

The police are conducting searches and looking at CCTV footage as per protocol.

The police urge anyone with information to call 3000600.

The gender ministry has stated that Shaeem was not registered at the children’s shelter but had been there to be assessed after being rescued from criminal activity, adding that he had been separated from the other children during his time.

This was in response to claims made on social media that Shaeem was registered at the children’s shelter.
