Family Court has revealed that it’s Assistant Legal Officer Ali Saeed was dismissed from his responsibilities after being found guilty of sexual assault.

The court via a press release on Thursday revealed that he had not been dismissed for filing a case against Judge Huzaifa Mohamed at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). Saeed’s case at the JSC states that Judge Huzaifa has been “defaming and attempting to frame him.”

He was fired after the sexual assault allegations against him were proven after investigations were carried out by the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).

DJA had declared Saeed guilty of said allegations on 13 June, revealed the statement by the court.

Further, it stated that DJA had sought from the court to investigate the sexual assault case, on 2 May.

Saeed was dismissed on Wednesday without a notice and following his dismissal, he had said that he had been working at Family Court for six years without facing any disciplinary issues and that he was shocked to have been dismissed. He claims that it was done because he filed a case against the judge.
