Speaker submits disciplinary case against Justice
Nasheed also submitted a case to require the JSC to publicly disclose details of their cases and hold regular press conferences

Speaker Mohamed Nasheed has submitted a disciplinary case at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) against Supreme Court Justice Abdulla Didi.
At a press conference on Sunday, parliament’s secretary general Fathimath Niusha said the speaker submitted a case at the JSC over a judge’s actions that had violated procedures.
Parliament’s media director Hassan Ziyau later told RaajjeMV that the case is regarding Justice Abdulla Didi.
At Sunday’s press conference, secretary general Niusha said speaker Nasheed also submitted a case to require the JSC to publicly disclose details of their cases and hold regular press conferences to provide information on their work.
Speaker Nasheed was appointed as a member of JSC after being elected speaker last week, since JSC has a seat reserved for the parliament speaker. Thulhaadhoo MP Hisaan Hussain has also been elected as a member.
