Minister Maleeh launches the new RaajjeMV website
RaajjeMV, an online news site run by Raajje Television, has launched its new website.
The new website was launched at a special ceremony on Thursday night by Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
The website has content in various categories such as politics, business, sports, entertainment, health, lifestyle, and world events.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Maleeh said Raajje Television’s archive is a national resource which should be protected for the next generation.
Praising the staff, Minister Maleeh said that RaajjeTV is the most notable of all the national television stations for providing the latest and up-to-date news and relevant shows. He also commended RaajjeTV for remaining steadfast and bringing the latest information during the previous years of political turmoil despite the pressure on the media.
Also at the ceremony, RaajjeTV’s Managing Director Ahmed Saleem highlighted the need to have technological competence to broadcast the latest news.
Saleem said that, based on experience from covering elections, most improvements come from the use of new technology, but that only a disciplined and honest team can bring great results from the use of technology.
