A fire broke out inside Mookai Suites in the capital Male' City, on Tuesday night.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that they received a report of the fire at around 9:48 pm, on the sixth floor of the building.

While the fire was controlled shortly after, MNDF stated that no injuries were reported.
