The police service has stated that they have found what they believe to be the body parts of a foreign worker who went missing in Sh. Lhaimagu.

A diving team found the body parts underwater, during their search for Luthufaru.

Luthufaru’s boat captain told the media that he went missing on April 21 and that they found out he was missing when they were preparing to undock.

His fellow foreign crewmen are suspects in the disappearance, and police have so far arrested two. RaajjeMV understands that since then more of the crewmen have been taken into custody.

Some of the crewmen have said that Luthufaru was seen arguing with some of the workers on the night of his disappearance.
