Employees of State Trading Organization (STO) dressed in black on Sunday following the death of the organization’s head of IT Musthafa Azmee, who passed away on Saturday.

Employees dressed in black on Sunday to mourn his death following instructions from the company’s management.

Azmee was an experienced carpenter who had worked at STO for 25 years.

He suffered fatal injuries after falling from the second floor of a mosque last week while doing carpentry work.

Azmee suffered serious injuries to his head and lungs including internal bleeding in his brain. After undergoing treatment in India on Wednesday, he died after being transferred to capital city Malé.

Many had joined his funeral on Saturday.
