Bank of Maldives (BML) is accepting project proposals for its Aharange Bank Community Fund.
Aharange Bank Community Fund is an initiative of BML to contribute to Maldivian communities through sustainable projects.
BML stated that it will support 20 projects in the areas of education, environment, sports, and community development and that winning projects will be granted MVR 50,000 each.
Those who can submit proposals include Individuals, Non-Governmental Organizations, Community-Based Organizations, women’s development groups, tech community movements, and youth empowerment groups. However, government and business entities are not eligible.
BML stated that it is looking for ideas that improve community spirit, promote sustainability and provide a social opportunity such as community garden spaces, book libraries, gardens or beach exercise spaces, and environmental initiatives.
