A safe stolen in R. Ungoofaaru have been found abandoned in an empty lot.

The thieves had failed to break open the safe, which was stolen from a private party on Thursday night.

Four suspects have since been arrested.

The police stated that they found the safe after receiving a tip-off that it was at the empty lot. The safe had signs of tampering.

The amount of money inside the safe was not disclosed.
