The government has announced a project to construct 100 housing units in Naifaru island of Lhaviyani atoll.
The Housing Ministry project was announced for public tender on Sunday, and proposals from both local and foreign contractors are accepted.
The Finance Ministry will be accepting no less than USD 100,000 as security for the project. The bidding will be held on 17th April.
The government is also building 100 housing units in Thulhaadhoo island of Baa atoll and 200 units in Gan island of Laamu atoll.
