Elections Commission (EC) is now accepting applications of those interested in being candidate representatives for the parliamentary election.
Interested individuals are to submit their applications before March 7, 4pm.
Candidate representatives are required to be at least 18 years old who are not police or military officers, are not senior officials or members of the judiciary or NGOs, are not serving a criminal sentence or detained over a crime, and not working in any capacity in the parliamentary election procedures on behalf of EC.
Applications should be submitted at the elections center at the old Jamaludeen School in capital city Male’ or the atoll and island focal points.
