The Maldives Polive Service is investigating a stabbing in Hulhumalé on Thursday morning. 

Police confirm that this incident was reported at about 7:10am on Thursday. 

The 33-year-old victim has been taken to the Hulhumalé Hospital with wounds to his chest, head, and arm. 

While his condition is reported as uncritical, the police say they will provide further information on the matter as they gather it.
